Add 1-2 cubes worth of fire cider to a bit of hot water each morning and consume before breakfast.
Benefits
🫚 Zingiber officinale, also known as Ginger, is a powerful warming circulatory stimulant, rushing warm blood to the areas that need it most. Ginger has been used in traditional medicine for centuries. It's known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, and it's often used to soothe nausea and digestive issues. The medicinal uses for ginger are broad and it can often boost the effectiveness of other herbs as it raises the ability to reach hard to reach body tissues.
In Hindu ceremonies, Turmeric 🧡 is considered sacred and is often used in rituals and blessings. The vibrant yellow-orange colour of turmeric comes from curcumin, its active compound. Curcumin is an extremely potent antioxidant, protecting cells from damage and preventing progression of disease. Unfortunately curcumin is not easily absorbed by the body, but when paired with piperine from black pepper it’s bioavailability can increase.
Apple Cider 🍎 Vinegar (ACV) is packed with microbes and enzymes for a strong gut microbiome and digestion, which builds good immunity. Not only this, but ACV can slow down the rate at which food empties from the stomach into the small intestine, this slows blood sugar spikes and regulates blood sugar levels. Some studies also show that ACV may improve insulin sensitivity, meaning that cells become more responsive to insulin and further regulate blood sugars.
